HWB Communtiy Center offers multiple meaningful ways for community members to get involved through volunteering and support. As a non-profit organization, the center welcomes both short-term and long-term volunteer opportunities for individuals passionate about community service. Volunteers can contribute their skills in various ways from joining an event planning sub-committee, helping with event execution, volunteering with the Community Library, or helping maintain our building and grounds, there is something for everyone at HWB!
Donations, both small and large, help us to continue the programs and events that we offer.
If you would like to donate books or supplies, or can volunteer a few hours per month for Library staffing, please contact the Library at 513-708-5805.
Please consider volunteering at an upcoming event. From Barktoberfest to the Summer Concerts, volunteers are always needed to help bring these great community events to Glendale.
As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, the center relies on charitable contributions to sustain its diverse programs and community events. Donors can contribute through various methods, such as one-time or recurring monthly donations via PayPal, mail-in checks, or even while shopping through Kroger’s Community Rewards program. For those seeking a lasting memorial, the center offers unique options like the Mary Catherine Kautzman Memorial Grove, where a $399 donation allows you to plant a tree with an engraved plaque to honor a loved one. Individuals can also consider including HWB Community Center in their estate planning through a legacy gift.
Every donation, regardless of size, directly supports the center’s ongoing efforts to provide education, cultural, and community-building programs that have been serving Glendale for almost 100 years.
